Summer Work and Travel USA  

This Program allows University students all over the World  the opportunity to travel and work in USA during their school break (From December – April- Southern Hemisphere Countries) . Most of the jobs are in hotels, restaurants, amusement parks, resorts, and swimming pools. Some available positions are housekeeping, dishwasher, laundry, customer service, kitchen, fast food, front desk, etc. The program will improve the participant's skills in the English language, while  living, and working  in an English speaking community.

REQUIREMENTS

q       Be at least 18 years of age.

q       Intermediate English level in writing and oral communication.

q       Be a full time student in a College or University

q       Bring  $ 500 to cover the  first week in USA

q       Preferable if you don’t have a previous visa denial.

FEES

What the program include

q       Employment Contract  (30-40  hours weekly)

q       Support during the paperwork process.

q       Form DS 2019 to obtain the J-1

q       SEVIS (Immigration document to control the entry of the participant in USA)

q       Letter presentation to the Consular officer

q       International Medical Insurance

q       Manual- Package information.

q       Mail service (DHL).

What the program does not include

q       Passport and other consular costs (interview fees)

q       Taxes to leave the home country

q       Housing and food, in USA (housing is already set up- see employer info)

q       Air tickets from your home country to USA

q       Pocket Money. ($500.00 for the first week in USA)

We as a recruiter agency do not guarantee issuance of a vise, the consular officer you interview with normally is the only person how will issue or denies  a visa.

Exchange Visitor Programs

Au Pair

Interested in living and working in the United States for 12 months on a personal level as an  Au Pair. If you meet the minimum requirements of between the ages of 18 -  26, and a high school graduate. Experienced with recent documented "practical" childcare.  Able to function in an English - speaking environment, you are on your way to living the experience of a lifetime. Through the Au Pair program you can participate directly in the home life of a host family by providing limited childcare services for up to 12 months. Childcare is limited to no more than 10 hours per day, and to a maximum of 45 hours per week

Au pairs are compensated for their work according to the Fair Labor Standards Act as interpreted and implemented by the US Department of Labor. Participants in the Au Pair program must be proficient in spoken English, and are required to complete at least six hours of academic credit or its equivalent at an accredited US post-secondary educational institution. Host families are required to pay up to $500 toward the cost of the au pair's required academic course work.

             Summer Work and Travel

The Summer Work/Travel program is designed to achieve the educational objectives of international exchange by involving bona fide foreign college/university students directly in the daily life of the people of the United States through travel and temporary work opportunities. Through the Summer Work/Travel program, foreign college/university students enter the United States to work for a maximum of four months during their summer vacation. Vocational students are not eligible. Program regulations permit students to repeat participation in this program more than once. Participating students are to receive the same salary and benefits as those received by U.S. citizens in the same or similar positions, and sponsors are required to inform participants about the Federal Minimum Wage requirement.

Except for participation in the category of Alien Physician, any employment involving patient care is prohibited in the Exchange Visitor Program. Most students typically work in non-skilled service positions at resorts, hotels, restaurants, and amusement parks. However, summer internships in U.S. businesses and other organizations (i.e., architecture, science research, graphic arts, publishing and other media communication, advertising, computer software and electronics, and legal offices, etc.) are allowed, so long as the internship does not exceed the program’s four-month maximum duration, and is completed during the student’s summer vacation.

U.S.A. University Students Outbound Work and Travel Program

U.S. university students, teach English Language at a university in Peru South America during your summer break from school, yes live with a host family while you work at a university, experience the culture and heritage of Peru S.A.

High School Students

High school students we did not forget about you, yes of course ACE has Educational and Cultural programs for you. Study one academic year or one academic semester at a high school abroad. The High School Program provides opportunities for people of diverse cultures to come together to learn about different points of view and ways of life, you can study at a public high school, or at a private boarding school that offers college preparatory academics and enriched cultural environment.  For more information on high school programs and locations.

Training

This program is special for employers who want to help an international employee with opportunities for professional development, and a greater understanding of the United States society and culture. This is a rewarding opportunity for both employer and participant, employer receives a trainee/employee who is motivated and eager to learn and work. Not only will the employer and trainee have a better understanding of each other’s heritage and culture, in some cases, the trainee brings knowledge and new ideals that may help the employers improve their business.
